Dr. Scott Picou is a Houma native. He earned his B.S. degree in biology from LSU and his M.D. degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at LSU Rural Family Medicine Program in Bogalusa.
Dr. Picou is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family. He is also an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner, able to issue all classes of medical certificates. His special interests include full-scope internal medicine, as well as preventative and geriatric medicine. Dr. Picou, his wife and three children enjoy LSU sports and being outdoors.
