Dr. Sebastian Koga

Dr. Sebastian Koga is a neurosurgeon specialized in brain tumors and complex spinal disorders. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford in the U.K., Tulane University School of Medicine and the University of Virginia neurosurgery program. He also completed subspecialty fellowships in cerebrovascular neurosurgery in Christchurch, New Zealand and in skull base neurosurgery in Hannover, Germany. He moved to the New Orleans Northshore area in 2014 and built the first comprehensive neurosurgery program in this region, treating thousands of local patients with a high-level of expertise and a personal approach to concierge medicine. Dr. Koga is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Koga has an international reputation, having trained with many leaders in the field. He delivers keynote lectures at national and international meetings and has performed complex brain and spine surgeries in Europe, China, Japan, New Zealand and the U.S.. He is a global citizen, having lived in many countries and treats international and out-of-state patients. Dr. Koga is committed to the constant clinical and technological advancement of neurosurgery and offers his patients the most modern surgical solutions available. He is actively involved in research and has access to an international network of expert colleagues to optimize the care of his patients.
