Dr. Shaun Kuoni is an interventional pain management specialist, specializing in minimally invasive advanced spine procedures including kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation. Additionally, Dr. Kuoni provides treatment of painful conditions throughout the body, including treatment of pain in the joints and extremities―including persistent pain after knee replacement―CRPS, chronic pain after hernia repair and facial pain syndromes. Dr. Kuoni is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston, Texas before completing an anesthesiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kuoni furthered his medical training as a pain medicine fellow at Vanderbilt.
