With 40 years of healthcare experience, Paolo Zambito currently serves as CEO of Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital. After graduating from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in 1983, Paolo worked at Charity Hospital for seven years, serving as the Head Nurse of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In 1991, he began working with a Tenet-owned hospital in Kenner, where he served as the Director of Critical and Surgical Services before being promoted to the position of Chief Nursing Officer. He was subsequently named Chief Operating Officer and in 2004 became the CEO. In 2013, Paolo joined LCMC Health as Senior VP of Operations for the Interim LSU Hospital. He remained at LCMC until 2019, serving as EVP of Strategy and Partner Affiliation as well as the Interim CEO of University Medical Center. His most recent role prior to Cypress Pointe was Chief Operational Officer for East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie.
