Dr. Brett J. Chiasson has more than 30 years of experience in medicine, treating all orthopedic conditions involving the upper and lower extremities. Most requested surgeries include joint replacements of the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees; arthroscopic surgery of knees and shoulders; carpal tunnel releases; fracture repairs; and sports medicine-related procedures. He is a board-certified and joint fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon serving southeast Louisiana. Dr. Chiasson received his undergraduate degree from LSU, and his M.D. degree at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. From there, he completed an Internship in general surgery, a four-year orthopedic surgery residency, and a year of orthopedic research at the University of South Alabama.
