Dr. Jonathan Thompson is trained in the most advanced technologies and treatments for acute and chronic pain conditions, such as neurostimulation, intrathecal drug delivery, and radiofrequency therapies. He employs a multidisciplinary approach to each patient to achieve the best physical function and quality of life. He takes pride in the time and accessibility he provides in caring for his patients. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Thompson lectures to medical and legal professionals, the insurance industry, case managers and rehab counselors on complex pain disorders and diseases that result in functional debilitation and chronic pain. The Louisiana native earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans before completing a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. Dr. Thompson furthered his medical training with a spine fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at LSU.
He is dual board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and interventional spine and pain medicine.
